Responsibilities

Ensure performance defect free delivery and own end to end performance testing activities within planned timelines
Creation, presentation and obtain signoff for performance test artefacts. E.g. Test strategy , test plan etc
Ensure performance engineering best practices are brought to the process to ensure delivery quality
Performance test design, Workload Model creation, Script creation, report/issue analysis
Assist Dev/Architecture teams in resolving performance issues, also assist in capacity planning
Training junior associates in requisite skillset to ensure a high performing team
Must have
Excellent proficiency of architecting and designing performance tests at an enterprise/application level on a variety of technical stack based on the understanding of the architecture
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency to dig down and pin-point performance issues and recommend probable tuning solutions
Excellent Hands on skills with multiple load testing tools (Neoload/LoadRunner/Jmeter)
Experience in Akamai SOASTA (cloud based load generator) for performance testing.
Experience with any APM tools (e.g. NewRelic / AppD / Splunk etc)
Experience with Server side performance as well as browser page performance assessment with any tools like Lighthouse / Yslow / WebpageTest
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cohesively with all stakeholders
Excellent planning abilities
Experience in providing estimates for different PT activities
Good To Have
Exposure to Retail, e-Commerce Domain and Google Cloud Should be proficient in Agile methodology of development
Should have Knowledge of Jira and other tools for project tracking
Should be committed to deliver and dedicated/ focused
Good written and oral communication sills
Should be able to coordinate with all the stakeholders and plan all technical activities
Should be a team player
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
8-12 years of relevant work experience
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
