DFP/GAM Developer Job Requirements For EGB Systems Interviews:

We’re looking for a frontend developer with extensive experience working on media websites. You’ll be helping our client list of digital publishers increase their revenue and improve their users’ experience by better implementing and optimizing ad-serving and rendering on their websites.

We are also looking for experience with DFP (Now Google Ad Manager). Knowledge of Header Bidding (prebid.js) and experience with a web publisher/working with web publishers is helpful. Knowledge of Connected TV and OTT platforms, Digital Out of Home, and in-app technologies (IOS and Android) are a plus.

We work with a diverse group of publishers with a combined audience in the billions. The code you write and changes you make will have a large impact across the web. The ideal candidate will have an advanced knowledge of Javascript/the browser, including synchronous/asynchronous javascript and its effects on the critical rendering path, how Iframes can be used to serve ads/embedded content, how to debug/analyze page performance + network performance, and how to debug third-party (often minified) code. Since you will be working primarily with web publishers, it would be useful to have a general understanding of how common CMSes (mostly WordPress) function.

Desired Candidate Profile

Developer should be able to triage all Ad related issues independently on the publishers website, and provide solutions, with very minimal or no guidance from publishers, resolve any type of performance issues. Should have knowledge to implement Ads SDK to the native platforms – IOS/Android/OTT devices, and triage any issues.

• Min 3-4 Years Javascript development, CSS, HTML- 1-2 years working on prebid.org and DFP ad server
• 2-3 years working on common CMSes (mainly WordPress)
• 2-3 years years of work at a publisher media website
• Advanced knowledge of browser quirks, Javascript specifics, Website performance improvement, Ads performance
• Ability to debug, analyze third-party javascript code (e.g. using Chrome dev-tools, debugger)
• Experience working with third-party APIs such as DFP API; eg an understanding of AJAX and JSONP.
• 2-3 yrs of IOS / Android development experience
