About the role:

What will your day look like:

  • Work with business partners to implement and test effective controls to protect ANZ from financial loss, reputational damage, or compliance breaches
  • Support the assurance managers in the management of risk assessments and change implementation with the business, including reviewing change initiatives and assisting risk owners to analyse the risk impacts to the business.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are well managed. Establish and foster relationships with key Business Units, Division and Group representatives
  • Execute control testing methodology in line with TRUI Approach & Technology Standards.
  • Monitor COR for accuracy and completeness, analyse information and make recommendations for improvement to processes, policies, and controls, adopting a collaborative approach
  • Represent automated control testing function during audits in relation to audit discussion of items related to execution of control testing for the in-scope business (business being audited).
  • Contribute to effective process and control improvement by balancing risk and reward when recommending actions to address ineffective controls. Follow-up and re-test remediated ineffective controls in a timely basis.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of KCST and contribute to operational risk assurance program in accordance with I.AM and stakeholder needs
  • Develop the “brand” of the Automated Control Testing Function.
  • Act and make decisions that are in line with ANZ values

What will you bring:

  • Sound problem solving and analysis skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong communication & presentation skills with results focussed on attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of key control testing (ITGC), mitigation techniques & risk management with experience in IT risk and compliance management.
  • Should be familiar with monitoring and testing of IT & automated controls at the application, database, operating system, and process levels. (Including validation controls, process controls)
  • Product knowledge and core system experience, knowledge on process domains such as Access Management, Change Management, Incident Management.
  • Working knowledge of banking instruments, products, and processes
