What You’ll Do:
- Lead the WebFOCUS team as part of the TIBCO Analytics Competency
- Will be responsible for WebFocus Project Delivery for customers across the globe.
- Contribute towards the business development and presales opportunities, responding to RFP, estimations, for different kinds of projects (Development, Managed Services, Migration, etc.)
- Develop WebFocus Center of excellence and build the team (enablement and training)
- Play a role of the Technical lead /BI Architect on key customer engagements
- Contribute toward go to market strategy and Solution offerings for analytics in general.
- Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
- Assist in modernizing the Department’s WebFOCUS application development environment.
- Design dashboards and cross connect different components
- Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
- Develop and execute database queries and perform analyses
- Provide proactive review, adjusting, tuning and optimization of the WebFOCUS servers
- Assist with configuring WebFOCUS server security.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 3 years experience in data analytics and data visualization
- Demonstrated experience designing and building complete end-to-end WebFOCUS business intelligence solutions
- Hands-on experience using App Studio to develop dashboards, reports, and graphs
- Demonstrated experience with developing custom JavaScript and CSS within WebFOCUS applications
- Assist with configuring WebFOCUS server security.
- Assist in modernizing the Department’s WebFOCUS application development environment.
- Ability to work directly with FOCUS language when necessary
- Provide proactive review, adjusting, tuning and optimization of the WebFOCUS servers.
- Experience in working with large scale data warehouse solutions , data modeling and designing data marts
Technical proficiency preferred in the following:
- An advanced ability to interact with various database and file storage systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift etc.)
- Ability to design dashboards and cross connect different components
- Develop and execute database queries and perform analyses
- Knowledge in Big data platforms and cloud technologies is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks/projects and adjust to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills
