As a Software Engineer II for Credit Administration Group, primary responsibility will be towards the development, integration and support of Credit Administration applications. The engineer will be part of the team, which is responsible for all software aspects including research, design, technology insertion, development, testing, deployment and sustainment. The role will be focusing on developing and integrating the solutions working closely with partner resources and team members based in the US (development leads and systems analysts)

• Hands-on development and contribution towards the delivery of the projects
• Working closely and collaborate with onsite/offsite leads and developers in design and delivery of solutions.
• Follow SVB’s delivery methodology (Agile / Iterative) for the delivery of the solutions
• Complete ownership of the development for the applications involved in the portfolio right from Design, Dev, Automated Unit Testing

• Hands-on Experience with React, Node JS, Angular /Java/J2EE/ ASP.NET MVC, API/Microservices, Restful Web services, web applications, JSM, transactional databases, NoSQL databases
• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
• 5 years of experience on software engineering
• Experience with CI/CD delivery model
• Experience in working with COTS/On-Premises, as well as SaaS solutions
• Decent Knowledge /Experience working in Agile Environment
• Ability to analyze and trouble shoot production issues
• Good understanding of developing medium to complex SQL queries
• Experience with either Oracle and/or SQL databases (with focus on application development and not as a DBA)
• Willingness and right demeanor towards learning other platforms
• Good Communication, level of energy, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly

Good to Have

• Experience in Banking domain, specifically understanding of Credit Reporting and Administration
• Experience with regulated financial organizations
• Working knowledge on AWS Could Infrastructure
• Experience working with middleware with enterprise integration services/solutions
• Implementation experience with SAAS/PAAS based solutions
• Experience implementing solutions using Agile/Kanban/Iterative delivery methodologies
