This position is for the role of a front end technical engineering lead for the Oracle Health Insurance suite of products
Roles & Responsibilities include
• Improve and implement the front end technical design of enterprise-class web application based on Oracle JET
• Driving architectural discussions for new applications
• Deliver a solid, detailed technical design and architectural documentation
• Creating governance with Design System and managing various teams delivering applications based on that
• Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
• Review business requirements and ability to perform a technical analysis of requirements and participating in estimation process
• Leading multiple frontend developers on technology to deliver OJET based application
• Mentoring and supporting team members on technical aspects
• Design and implement user authentication and security features
• Coordinate between Onsite/Offshore Teams
• Maintain high standards of code quality and unit test coverage.
• Results-oriented and dedicated with proven leadership skills
• Strive for continuous improvement of UI Development Process & standards
Essential skills
• At least 10+ years of UI Development experience
• Proven experience in designing and developing an enterprise application UI framework and frontend
• Expert in the front-end web technology stack (JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3)
• Expert in modern JavaScript/TypeScript web application development
• Proficient in jQuery, Knockout and Require
• Experience using assertion libraries like chai, QUnit and testing frameworks likes karma, mocha
• Demonstrated ability to build elegant and engaging user interfaces
• Experience with REST Web Services.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
