Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the user problems, goals, and requirements for AI products and platforms.
  • Create and communicate design concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications that align with the user needs and the product vision.
  • Conduct user research, testing, and feedback to evaluate the usability, accessibility, and satisfaction of the design solutions.
  • Incorporate data, insights, and best practices to inform and improve the design decisions and outcomes.
  • Advocate for the user perspective and design excellence throughout the product development process.
  • Collaborate and share your design expertise and feedback with other designers and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with and answer questions from Engineering to aid in successful design implementation and perform question-and-answer forums (QAs) to help them ensure “pixel perfect” or detailed designs. Work with developers to iterate further on designs during implementation to ensure optimal designs.
  • Convey work to peers and managers within the team so that the audience understands. Set context for stakeholders. Help organize communication with cross-disciplinary teams inside and across through all stages of design and development. Own communication for what you are doing in a proactive way.

Qualifications;

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in UX design, product design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience where you can demonstrate design thinking to solve problems.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working in product or service design, as UX designer for web or mobile applications, preferably in the AI, NLP, or search domains.
  • A strong portfolio of design projects that demonstrate your design process, skills, and impact.
  • Proficiency in popular design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Experience in conducting user research, testing, and feedback using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
  • A passion for AI and a curiosity for exploring new and emerging user needs and scenarios.
  • A passion for design and creating exceptional user experiences.
