  • Independently manage non-patient customer onboarding, credit-limit application/monitoring, and master-data maintenance for assigned hospitals/segments.
  • Prepare and issue non-patient/intercompany invoices, verify claim completeness, and manage submission and follow-up of insurance claims through to closure.
  • Reformat system-generated bills to meet insurer-specific requirements where needed, and coordinate with hospital teams on documentation.
  • Drive collections follow-up and dunning as per the geography’s cadence; monitor claim ageing against agreed credit periods and resolve insurer queries.
  • Perform cash application including matching of consolidated insurer remittances against multiple open invoices.
  • Process refunds (patient/corporate) after validation and required approvals.
  • Perform bank, cash, and AR reconciliations for the assigned scope, and support preparation of Statements of Account on request.
  • Support month-end activities bad-debt provision inputs and write-off documentation and respond to audit queries.

RTR

Brief Description:

  • Manage complex journal entry processing and review supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined controls.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations in BlackLine, review aging and open items, investigate variances, and drive timely resolution.
  • Manage intercompany accounting activities, including balance confirmation, mismatch analysis, dispute follow-up, and period-end settlement support.
  • Lead month-end close tasks and reporting, monitor completion status, identify risks, and support timely and accurate closure.
  • Provide process expertise for fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, transfers, depreciation, impairment support, and retirements.
  • Support inventory accounting and standard costing requirements and resolve related accounting exceptions, as applicable.
  • Act as a process SME, support stakeholder queries, maintain process documentation, and coach team members on accounting procedures and controls.

Experience Required:

  • 1-4 years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger, or accounting operations within a BPO/Shared Services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in MS Excel with strong reporting, reconciliation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of SAP and practical experience in BlackLine balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience in month-end close, intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting, and stakeholder-facing operational roles.
  • Strong analytical, root cause analysis, process improvement, and issue-resolution experience.

Skill Sets:

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report processes, general ledger accounting, and period-end close controls.
  • Expertise in journal entry processing, BlackLine reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ability to review complex accounting exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and escalation-handling skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, control documentation, and knowledge repositories.
  • Working knowledge of inventory accounting and standard costing is desirable.
  • Experience in process improvement, operational reporting, quality review, and control compliance.
  • Training, mentoring, and process coaching experience preferred.
