What will your day look like:
- Working with the Product Owner, Analysts, Developers, Testers and other people in your Squad to translate business requirements into Epics, User Stories and provide development estimates.
- Working with different stakeholders to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of User Stories.
- Analyse requirements, develop high quality code (Frontend & Backend), Test in an automated way, and ship software features into production.
- Develop infrastructure as code, setup CICD automation pipelines.
- As a technical lead, you will also be working with the leadership team and building world class software delivery capabilities.
- Mentor squad members to help them improve their technical capability.
What will you bring?:
- Experience working with two or more from the following: Web application development, Micro-services, OpenShift/GCP/AWS Cloud environments, Distributed Systems, Common Runtime Services & Libraries, Insight Reliability and Performance.
- Familiar with popular Software Design Patterns, such as Factory, Circuit Breaker, Event Sourcing, BFF, Sidecar, Strangler etc.
- Familiar with integration & communication pattens, such as RESTful, Kafka
Strong computer science fundamentals, familiarity with adapting different algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems.
- Technically strong across software engineering practices, having at least 8 years’ hand- on experience in coding modern web applications and API services.
- A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with IT and business audiences at all levels, both verbally and in writing to socialise, solicit opinions and accept feedback.
- Hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards automation, management and continuous improvement
- An understanding of customer needs to make sound strategic judgments
- Experience working in cross functional, Agile and continuous delivery teams
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality applications that delight customers
- Have a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies, bringing benefits into the team
