What will your day look like:

We require a resource who can work as a developer for all the enhancements that are required for the 5 iSeries application under the BAU as well as other project streams.

  • This requires a resource who can perform the below activities.
  • Develops quality solutions in response to given requirements that match business needs & expectations
  • Ensure all support incidents are handled on time and without any impact to customers.
  • Ensure the approved development methodology and standards are followed without any deviations being escalated.
  • Carrying out the application production support for all the application that are part of the squad.
  • Ensures application stability.

What will you bring?:

  • To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:
  • You will ideally be well-versed in both technology and markets business domain.
  • Developing robust iSeries applications for mission-critical trading systems and delivering high-availability and performance using RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, DB2400, SQL400.
  • Proficient in job scheduler ROBOT, change management tool THENON, Case tool CASE/2E (AKA Synon).
  • Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle, prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code and strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge on CASE/2E will help with understanding the existing application.
    Knowledge on banking domain.
