Description – Havells Job :
JOB PURPOSE/MANDATE
TO ORGANIZE AND OVERSEE THE PRODUCTION OF PRESS SHOP DEPARTMENT. TO ENSURE AN EFFICIENT AND PRODUCTIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESS THAT MEETS CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist Incharge in adherence of day wise, weekly & monthly production as per plan
Manpower deployment & handling them on shop floor
Facilitating & implementing improvement activities like KAIZEN, Quality circle, etc
Daily production report filling, checking and monitoring on machines
Motivating, educating and imparting comprehensive training to workmen for creating awareness towards quality, safety, 5s
Control, handling & identification of OK, Rework & rejected parts
Maintaining 5s and safe working environment on shop floor
Reduction in process rejection
Active participation in ISO, Radar & MOST & their documentation
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Good Knowledge of Press shop processes and press tools.
Must have a mechanical Engineering Experience.
Knowledge Of lean manufacturing.
Prior experience in similar industry would be an added advantage.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Sap Knowledge
People handling skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education Degree/Diploma in Mechanical engineering.
Working Exp. 3 – 4 years minimum
