Roles and Responsibilities
A. Production Operations
– Deliver production plans and targets through multi – skilled production team
– Maintain production quality as per Company standards
– Maintain work flow through tactical management of production process.Co-ordination with other departments for smooth execution of operations.
– Develop and implement new ways to improve production capacity and efficiency and reduce production costs.
– Effectively utilize resources (Manpower and Machinery) and energy consumption (Electrical and Fuel).
B. Process Development
– Drive safety regulations and ensure that staff is adequately trained to abide by the required safety norms.
– Reduce the reportable rate of accidents (fatal incidents, Permanent disability, major fire, property damage etc.)
– Bring about comprehensive improvements with adherence to GMP/ 5 S combined with timely record keeping.
– Maintain engineering critical items in stock and control spare cost.
– To manage and ensure department is contributing effectively to the company business objectives
C. People Management
– Employee management with respect to shift operations.
– Managing blue collared workers (including contract labor).
Desired Candidate Profile
– B.E. /B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical OR Industrial Engineering.
– 2-4 years of relevant experience in production domain with 1-2 years of experience in leading team
