Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Junior Risk Analyst at Global Portfolio Reconciliation Services (GPRS) team must have excellent quantitative, cognitive, and analytical skills. Should analyze, coordinate, document, monitor and report any risk exposure to the Risk Manager.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Exposure to industry practices of Risk Management, policies, procedures, and assessment methodologies (visual dashboards and scorecards)
- Awareness about setting up of risk measures / KRI design, tolerance, and thresholds
- Exposure to risk policies, procedures, and internal controls (RCSA)
- Exposure to business process control environment
- Ability to contribute to walk-throughs with business teams and document findings
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and business teams about audit requirements
- Analyze audit reports i.e., SOC and SOX and coordinate with business teams for effective closure of any audit findings
- Report key risks identified to the Risk Manager
License/Registration/Certification:
- Relevant Risk Certification / PMP Certification on Risk Management (Preferrred)
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 2-3 years of experience in asset management/financial services industry
- Exposure to internal audits in asset management services is an added advantage
- Have a confident approach towards building business relationships
- Self-driven at managing own workload and acting on own initiative
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
- Strong oral/ written communication skills
- Analytical and organizational/ time management skills
- Ability to develop briefing materials and write reports to communicate with decision makers
- Forward thinking and future state oriented
