Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts for AWS Lambda functions and related services.
- Collaborate with developers to understand new features and functionality and write appropriate tests.
- Develop testing strategies and test cases using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or PyTest.
Implement integration, functional, regression, and performance testing. - Use AWS tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, etc.) to monitor, debug, and optimize Lambda executions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Identify, document, and track defects in a test management system (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Assist in code reviews and provide test-related feedback.
- Help drive test automation best practices and culture across the team.
