Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Trade Relationship Manager to acquire and manage high-value Current Account customers engaged in international trade. The role involves driving trade business, cross-selling trade finance solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, building strong client relationships, and achieving business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire quality Current Account customers involved in import/export business.
- Activate customers’ first trade transaction after account onboarding.
Cross-sell Trade & Forex products:
- Letters of Credit (LC)
- Bank Guarantees (BG)
- Forward Contracts
- Bill Collection (BC)
- Travel Cards
- Generate leads for asset products and other banking solutions.
- Ensure KYC, AML, RBI, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain high Average Monthly Balance (AMB) portfolio.
- Build and manage long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Resolve customer queries and escalations promptly.
- Achieve business, revenue, and acquisition targets.
Important Requirements
- Experience in Trade Finance / Current Account Acquisition / Corporate Banking
- Knowledge of Import-Export Trade Transactions
- Understanding of Forex, LC, BG, and Trade Products
- Strong Sales, Relationship Management & Negotiation Skills
- Knowledge of KYC, AML & RBI Guidelines
- Ability to acquire and manage high-value clients
Preferred Candidate Profile: Banking professionals with experience in Trade Sales, Branch Banking, Business Banking, Current Account Acquisition, or Trade Finance.
