Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (Techno-Functional) to work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality business solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, functional, and communication skills with hands-on experience in Agile product development environments.
This role requires translating business requirements into functional specifications while ensuring smooth collaboration between business and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and Development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation and business validation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend business solutions.
- Manage requirement changes and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
- Provide functional support during implementation, deployment, and post-production activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in requirement elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience working with Engineering and Development teams.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Practical experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Expertise in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, use cases, and process documentation.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar requirement management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Engineering-led product development organizations.
- Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO, or equivalent.
- Business Analysis certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA will be an added advantage.
