Job Description:
Role & responsibilities
- Manage and maintain documents within EDMS platforms such as SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum, or similar systems.
- Upload, index, classify, and archive documents in accordance with document control and metadata standards.
- Ensure document quality, completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established governance requirements.
- Perform document migration, bulk uploads, metadata enrichment, and data cleansing activities.
- Review document attributes, naming conventions, revision statuses, and approval workflows.
- Track document lifecycle activities, including creation, review, approval, issuance, revision, and archival.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams to obtain and validate required documentation.
- Support document retrieval requests and provide user assistance for EDMS-related issues.
- Generate reports and dashboards on document status, progress, compliance, and key performance indicators.
- Participate in document digitization, scanning, indexing, and legacy document conversion projects.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and information management standards.
