With a rapidly growing volume of more than an exabyte of data, join us at the cusp of building a truly general data protection platform which will serve as the foundation to help protect any workload (VMs, Containers, SQL, OSS Databases, File Server, Blobs etc.) running on any cloud (private, hosted, Azure, etc.) and hypervisor (Hyper-V, VMware). We are building a highly scalable multitenant layered architecture solution, consisting of loosely coupled micro services and a generalized data store.

Responsibilities

As a critical part of the larger Azure Core organization, the Azure Backup team offers you the opportunity to learn, build and run a globally available world class Azure service alongside industry experts and technology stacks spanning high scale data stores, data movers, distributed workloads, REST based management. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about distributed storage and love solving challenges related to data integrity, scale, performance, durability, availability and security while ensuring the lowest operational cost. Qualifications For Microsoft Openings Recruitment
