Partner with Product Marketing and Supply Chain stakeholders to forecast bookings for key product families within Access Switching as the business continues a material, multi-year transition toward next-generation platforms that drive Cisco’s overall transition toward software and recurring revenue.
- Support the Access Switching Controller on revenue and margin forecasting activities, developing an understanding of the impact of competitive pricing, product mix, cost savings and non-material spending on margin.
- Partner with Product Marketing on key initiatives driving portfolio evolution including, among other things, RoI analysis and pricing for new products, general portfolio pricing analysis and platform transition metrics.
- Partner with Business Unit and Supply Chain stakeholders to understand the cost model for key platforms and how to optimize at various stages of the product lifecycle.
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders across the Enterprise Switching team, the broader Enterprise Segment group as well as central FP&A teams to align on key deliverables and initiatives. Being a supportive team player is a critical success factor for this position.
- Engage with Sales Finance to provide input on key opportunities impacting Access Switching, with a focus on managing the trade-off between growth/market share and margin protection.
- Take ownership of product hierarchy management, ensuring that new products are defined with proper attributes for purposes of proper market share reporting, revenue recognition and internal management reporting.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business-related field with 1-2 years related Finance experience, ideally with a focus on operational / business partner support.
- You have solid analytical skills along with a solid understanding of the P&L.

- You are process-oriented and are able to create capacity through process innovation.
