Position Description:
The Automotive Connectivity Software Engineer will design & implement Automotive Connectivity solutions following SDLC best practices on Android / Linux platform. This software implementation shall include developing new and extending connectivity components.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible from requirement analysis till realization of the functionality in Automotive Connectivity domain.
- Is responsible for multiple component ownership for Automotive Connectivity development
- Delivery of the software for software Integration
- Ensure the implementation of defined test strategies and document the achieved results.
- Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features.
- Ensure traceability, consistency of requirements and feature maturity
- Defect triaging and resolution
- Work with other Software domains for the resolution of dependencies on features and defects.
- Extend existing Android Framework & native services.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, create, and implement new features.
- Collaborate and integrate with external data sources and APIs
- Integration of open-source components.
- Performance measurement and optimization
- Unit-test code for robustness, as well as edge cases, usability, and overall dependability.
- Continually seek out, assess, and adopt new technologies in order to increase development efficiency
- Develop prototype and execute feasibility studies
- Ensure traceability and consistency to system and software requirements
- Work on bug fixes and performance enhancements for the program.
