Key responsibilities
- Support the EMEA Client Data Analytics team in delivering solutions using a variety of automation tools to improve Business processes and enabling data to be available at crucial decision points.
- Enable the analytics team by managing our analytics infrastructure to ensure its availability and integrity
- Liaise with respective Technology teams for troubleshooting issues with our analytics infrastructure
- Create data digestion pipelines required for our analytics (data acquisition and ETL)
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
- Effectively and efficiently merge and consolidate data, potentially in different formats from different sources.
- Work with Enterprise Data Office and Technology to govern and manage our data management processes and systems
- Embed an analytic mindset in Marketing & Sales. Communicate data, analysis and insights to business partners ensuring information is correct, complete, timely, digestible and understood
- Advise the Director, EMEA Client Data Analytics on the latest data tools & techniques.
Work experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience as DBA and writing SQL queries experience. Experience with Google BigQuery, AWS and Snowflake is an advantage.
- 1 year experience on Alteryx or any other ETL tool like Talend, KNIME or SSIS will be preferred.
- Must have scheduled and monitored jobs on servers.
- Experience in programming languages like python. Familiarity with packages like numpy, pandas, requests.
- Familiarity with No-SQL Databases like MongoDB will be good to have.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience using Tableau or any other Visualisation tool is an advantage.
Knowledge:
- Should be comfortable with working with structured, unstructured and semi-structured data.
- Should be familiar with pulling data from API and authentication methods.
- Knowledge any automation tool will be good to have.
- Should be aware of data visualisation principles & best practices to deliver simple, intuitive, and easy reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts and communicate to audiences of all levels.
