Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive – General Trade to handle and grow the packaged drinking water business in Bengaluru Karnataka. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing distributors, increasing outlet coverage, and improving product availability and visibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Market Growth
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales through distributors and retail outlets.
- Increase the number of active retail outlets in the assigned area.
2. Market Development & Visibility
- Ensure products are available in all key retail outlets.
- Improve shelf display and brand visibility in shops.
- Execute trade schemes, promotions, and in-store activities.
- Identify new areas and outlets for business growth.
3. Distributor & Channel Management
- Manage distributors and support them in daily operations.
- Plan orders and ensure timely delivery to retailers.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and secondary sales.
- Resolve distributor and retailer issues quickly.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with key retailers and wholesalers.
- Address service complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain long-term business relationships with trade partners.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and activities in the market.
- Collect feedback from retailers and consumers.
- Share market updates and sales reports with management regularly.
6. Collections & Compliance
- Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors and retailers.
- Maintain accurate sales, stock, and collection records.
- Follow company policies and reporting guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Graduate in any discipline or a related field.
- Experience: 8–12 years of experience in FMCG, beverages, or packaged drinking water sales.
Expertise
- Strong experience in General Trade and distributor handling.
- Experience in the Hyderabad region or nearby markets is preferred.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is mandatory.
