Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Design, build, and scale automated testing frameworks using Playwright from scratch.
• Script Creation: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient test scripts using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Execution Strategy: Implement cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit) and configure parallel test execution.
• API Testing: Create automated scripts to validate RESTful APIs, network intercepts, and back-end integration.
• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and triage software defects using platforms like Jira or Azure Boards.
• Reporting: Configure and maintain advanced test reporting dashboards using tools like Allure or Playwright HTML Reporter.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Technical Skills

• Core Tool: Strong hands-on proficiency with the Playwright test runner and its core ecosystem.
• Languages: Solid programming fundamentals in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  Design Patterns: Expert knowledge of Page Object Model (POM), custom fixtures, and test data strategy.
• Asynchronous Handling: Deep understanding of handling async/await operations, promises, and dynamic web elements.
• DevOps & Versioning: Mastery of Git commands and establishing automated workflow triggers.
• Web Mechanics: Proficiency in parsing DOM elements via CSS selectors, XPaths, and browser Developer Tools. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
