Job Description:
L&T Walk-in Drive For Quality Engineer
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data to prepare FAI (First Article Inspection) and ITP (Inspection Test Plan) reports.
- Maintain Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs including 8D and RCCA methodologies.
- Oversee the calibration program for inspection equipment and maintain machine logs.
- Ensure effective document control management and compliance with quality standards.
- Support various quality programs such as SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, APQP, and PPAP.
- Apply Quality Tools like 7QC tools, 5S, and Six Sigma for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and update ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Profilometer, and CMM.
- Assist the Quality Assurance team in data analysis using SPC charts (I-MR, X-bar-R, P-Chart, U-Chart), Correlation Analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Manage customer complaints and warranty analysis efficiently.
- Familiarity with SPC software like MINITAB, SPSS, or JMP is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and SAP systems.
