As part of Operations & Maintenance team, manage and maintain automation applications and supporting databases to ensure 100% application uptime and seamless integration with third party applications/databases to deliver uninterrupted integrated system operations at all times. To work closely with various teams for maintaining and upgrading IT infrastructure and devices deployed across enterprise in compliance with corporate IT policies.
Experience and Qualifications
3-5 yrs experience on IT application management and operations, database querying and system logs analysis, interfacing with desperate IT systems, knowledge/understanding of video management and access control systems, interfaces with ERP and other biometric systems and activities as mentioned above in job description.
B.E / M.Tech / MCA
Accountabilities:
Provide application management support.
Troubleshoot and carry out analysis of user complaints and provide support for rectification.
Coordinate with application developers/vendors for problem escalation and troubleshooting, follow-up and solution deployment.
Monitor health of servers and performance of application/database on daily basis.
Plan, implement, supervise and coordinate server maintenance/downtime for regular security patch updates to keep systems compliant with IT policies.
Coordinate with application vendors and system users for application upgrade and functionality enhancements.
Ensure data flow integrity between interfaced systems and coordinate with other applications stake holders for seamless integration between dependent systems.
Coordinate and support users in handling application software and device firmware upgrades and configuring in application platform.
Maintain and document user’s requirement and initiate changes/enhancements through change management for standardisation across enterprise.
Maintain close liaison and coordination with datacenter & DBA teams for server administration and server maintenance activities.
ID cards management to support interfaced systems and operations of Central ID Card cell.
Maintain close liaison and coordination with sites/corporate IT teams for IT-hardware and network support.
Provide functional support during testing solutions and rollout of new technologies and applications.
Address user’s complaints on application, data extraction & analysis, generating reports/MIS.
Manage O&M helpdesk and ticketing platform.
Provide user operators training for various user roles.
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
Data and network analysis skills, system administrator, problem solving attitude.
Experience with relational databases (preferably SQL Server). Should be able to write SQL queries, procedures, triggers, and do basic performance tuning.
Upgrading/enhancing systems to keep them current in technology and IT security benchmarks.
Good knowledge of ASP.NET framework.
Prior experience in development or maintaining an enterprise software and system integrations is a plus.
Prior exposure to Physical Security Systems will be a value add.
