Job Description For Wipro Job Openings

Core responsibilities

  • Work closely with the regional head in defining and executing the domain strategy for business growth for the region
  • Play an advisory role to customers and prospects and provide thought leadership &
  • Business / ICT transformation recommendations in various technology areas
  • Keep abreast of market & technology trends to build the domain strategy & establish objectives there of including critical themes with market relevance.
  • Lead and manage the domain leads across the region to drive the domain agenda in line with the regional priorities
  • Work in close co-ordination with the regional Account/Sales teams to manage the pre-sales process with clients and provide the leadership throughout the sales-cycle from initial qualification to closure of the deal
  • Interlock with Global based practice teams on RFPs/Events/Go-to-Market (GTM) on solutions
  • Provide technical & architecture guidance, for various technology domains & practice teams for capability & competency building
    Develop & foster partnerships for building solutions and GTM plans
    Should be able to map solutions / offerings to client/market’s demands, develop value proposition & business case
  • Managing work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and value to the client in
    terms of improving competitive position

KEY RESULT AREAS :

Business Impact :

  • Demand generation for building a healthy pipeline in the communications domain
  • Ability to curate and shape large size opportunities / deals
  • Increase in revenue generated from SI, consulting & MS engagements. Revenue by way of increasing billable headcount is also important.
  • Drive increase in revenue by scaling domain solutions / offerings. Domain influenced ACV at a practice level / market unit level
  • Lead with domain differentiators, solutions, driving transformation and strategic engagements.

Domain & Solutions Capability :

  • Define market relevant domain offerings and value proposition
  • Support dissemination of offering information within accounts of engagement.
  • Support in opportunity identification in the market, existing engagements.
  • Build relationships and door openers within the client organization or leads that can be handled over to the account manager or nurtured.
  • Interlock with Sales / Client partners and provide support in sales enablement and presales activities.
  • Actively partner with solution provider’s / alliance partners.

Customer Success :

  • Lead and Support complex delivery engagements
  • Ability to drive self-billability
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in all network domain led engagements.
  • Deliver high quality of work with compliance to client needs and delivery parameters.

Thought Leadership:

  • Drive thought leadership with clients to gain mindshare and build confidence
  • Work with marketing team to brand the practice offerings and showcase thought leadership.
  • Invest time in analyst relations.
  • Provide program level intelligence to account leadership and sales team.
  • Create KM documents for process & product configurations.
  • Create case studies for all existing and new projects in the account

Qualifications & Experience :

  • BE in Electronics and telecommunications. Additional qualification in business management is desirable.
  • 20+ years of experience in Telecom domain, preferably in service provider industry.
  • Experience in technology life cycle management across Strategy, Planning, Engineering
  • Implementation, Operations and Maintenance, Optimization of Telecom networks
  • spanning voice, data & video services across wireless & wireline domains.
  • Conversant with Day 0 / Day 1 / Day 2 activities in a telecom SP environment.
  • Good understanding of various budget pools for the Network & IT domain of the customer organization
  • Clear understanding of the various services for B2C & B2B segments from an End-to-end perspective
  • across legacy & new age technologies – Telco Cloud, SDN/NFV, LTE, 5G, Edge
  • Computing, Network Automation, Orchestration, Security, Analytics
  • Exposure to IT platforms and systems related to network/service management is preferred.
