IHS Markit EDM Developer

Technical platform: Markit EDM v19.1, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Enterprise, MS Queue, C#, Angular web framework, Windows 2016

Tasks/Responsibilities:
The Markit EDM / SQL Server Database Developer will work with a dedicated Prague-based technical and business staff to develop enhancements to the existing reference data solution and provide 2nd level business as usual (BAU) support as required.
This development would be in an agile-like fashion with several releases each year. Testing of colleagues code would be an integral part of the role.

Qualifications/required skills:
Min. 4-year experience developing in IHS Markit EDM solutions
Min. 4-year experience developing T-SQL solutions
Detailed knowledge of MS SQL Server ideally at a DBA level for performance tuning
Knowledge of JIRA and GIT
Proven experience working with all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle
Financial services experience ideally in Equities, Bonds and/or Indices
Business analysis and/or requirements engineering experience
Fluent English
Team player
Education to degree level

Advantages
Experience developing with C# and Angular web framework
Experience developing websites
Experience developing with other programming languages such as C++, Powershell
Proven experience with reporting solutions using SSRS and/or Web Services (WSDL)
Proven usability engineering experience
Experience developing data warehouse solutions
