Job description:
Responsibilities and basic requirements
The Content team is responsible for building out the analytics content that powers reporting and portfolio management tools throughout the firm. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor as the team is using new software architecture to generate and deliver the content. The Content team is also responsible for supporting new requirements for existing client’s reporting requirements, conducting analyses for changes to the financial landscape. The Content team is a diverse and global team with exposure to a vast array of markets and asset classes and service clients in all spectrums of the financial markets
Required skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree, with preference to technical disciplines such as Computer Science and Information Systems as well as business disciplines such as Finance and Economic
- Hands on experience with SQL and basic level understanding of UNIX, SYBASE and FTP server
- Advance MS Excel
- Knowledge of financial markets and the financial services industry with a passion for learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with an ability to connect across different functions and levels
- Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve adhoc, non-routine problems in a timely and insightful manner, should be able to solve the problems independently
Optional:
- Experience with UAT testing while working with developer, basic ETL understanding and analyze data (Python & VBA)
- Knowledge of financial markets and the financial services industry with a passion for learning
- Core concepts include global investment. products, market data, corporate actions, market indices, ETFs and risk management etc.
