JD Developer (G1 Role)- For Telecom Billing Profile other than Singleview Description: As a Software Development Engineer in SV, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a highly experienced teams (CSGi as well Client team) delivering BSS/OSS solutions for various service providers across the globe. You shall work with one or more products from the comprehensive product suite of CSGi which includes Singleview – Convergent Billing, Customer Management & Commerce Engine. You will be responsible for delivering quality solutions including the low level design , coding & testing with minimum guidance. You may be involved in the mentoring initiatives. You will get to leverage industry best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Test Automation etc. As a successful candidate, you will meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
Have 4-6 years of technical experience in the telecom BSS domain in solution design and/ or product development.
Must have excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
Demonstrate strong programming skills in languages like Perl, shell scripting, C & SQL .
Have excellent experience using UNIX/ LINUX environments to develop, deploy, and manage applications.
Programming and administration experience with Oracle (or other databases) would be an added advantage.
Thorough understanding of SDLC Software Methodologies and/or experience in SAFe/ Scrum/ Kanban is preferable.
Basic understanding of Tools like SOAP UI, Seagull would be an added advantage.
Effective communication both verbal & written would be required.
Should have aptitude to positively collaborate across multiple teams.
Be a self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment. 2.
