Strong hands-on exposure in Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), Policy base routing, VRF based routing for shared rooftop Business environment, MPBGP, QOS setup, GRE/MGRE Tunnels, IPSec Tunnels, IP SLA tracking etc.(ISR 4300,4400, ASR 1000 series, 7206 VXR, 3925, 1921)
Good hands-on experience on switching, different variant of Spanning tree, loop guard, UDLD, port security, HSRP/VRRP, Switch stacking, VSS, Port-Channel, VPC/MEC & VDC etc. Hardware (Nexus 2K,5K,7K & 9K, Cisco 4500,6500,3850, HP procurve switch etc)
Good hands-on experience on different type of WAN links and the network equipment used for wan connectivity. Working on Visio for Network Diagram add/update etc. (MPLS, Point to Point, DIA & EWAN)
Hands-on experience on WAN optimizer concepts using the appnav solution. (Cisco WAAS/ RiverBed)
Hands-on experience on Wireless concepts for Autonomous AP & Light wait AP with controller base solution. Cisco WLC 5500,3500series, Air-AP-3800,2800,2700,2600 series)
Good Knowledge on using Cisco Prime Infrastructure tool.
Knowledge on one of the technology SD-LAN products Meraki, Aruba & managing through its dashboard meraki dashboard / Aruba central.
Knowledge on anyone SD-WAN Product Viptela, Versa managing through its dashboard (VManage, Versa Director)
Strong hands-on exposure in Firewall (at least any two Cisco ASA/Check Point/Palo Alto/Fortigate, Juniper etc) concepts (Route Add, Rule ADD/ Modify/ Delete, Nat, Faulty Firewall replacement, High Availability setup, packet capture, log analysis etc.)
Good experience on Cisco CDO, Checkpoint MDS R80.x, Palo Alto Panorama, Forti Manager etc.
Good knowledge on handling upgrade and tech refresh, certificate and license management.
Strong Knowledge on IPS & IDS Technology (Tippingpoint SMS, Checkpoint or Palo Alto)
Strong hands-on exposure in F5 LTM, APM & GTM, troubleshooting VIP/Monitor/pool etc, Understand & manage iRule, License & certificate renewals, firmware upgrade etc.
Good knowledge on handling F5 using BigIQ management tool
Understand the concept of proxy Bluecoat & cloud base Proxy Zscaler/Cisco umbrella etc.”
Good knowledge and experience on Remote VPN solutions infrastructure. Preferably using F5 APM or Prisma
Good knowledge on and experience on vulnerability management including discovery, validation, risk assessment, prioritization, remediation etc.
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies and able to drive best practices in DDI
Past experience with Infoblox, F5 GTM or any other DNS platforms
Ability to act as a technology escalation in DDI, VPN, Proxy, Network and Security technologies
Knowledge on various Network tools: For node health monitoring, wan health monitoring, configuration management, log analyzing & Network Traffic flow analyzers etc.
Knowledge on Tools like CAPM, NFA, Splunk, Net brain, Net MRI, Thousand Eyes, Skybox
Automation knowledge using Ansible, Python, Terraform etc.
Perform customer management by having periodic connect with Business stakeholders on the program updates and decision making
Ensure the program meets agreed Service Level Agreements and process compliance targets
Handle communication management with Program Sponsors and key stakeholders during every instance of the program execution
Handle projects based on industry standard project management model
Engage quality team to identify, initiate and execute Service Improvement Plans to reduce non-compliances and SLA misses
Perform risk evaluation and assessment and initiate and execute risk mitigation plans to avoid or minimize risk impacts
Identify resource requirements and prepare resource allocation plans, initiate resource hire, complete onboarding of new joiner, manage relocation and resignation of employees, make decision on transferring resource under performance improvement plan and terminations
Review and action leave requests from team members. Manage resource availability during off-business hours and weekends.
Define goals & objectives, KRAs, KPIs according to Program and organizational requirements. Perform periodic monitoring and measurement of individuals achievements towards their goals. Perform annual performance evaluation for your team members. Make decision on employee progressions and promotions
Identify training requirements, define training plan, provide trainings according to program requirements
Communicates in an open, and consistent manner; Can articulate his/her needs to the manager/ team in written and oral form in order to do his/her work. Listens and understands differing points of view. Participates in meetings
