AWS- Full stack
Role Description:
- Full Stack Web Application Software Engineer
- Understand Compensation process and design technology solutions using modern cloud technologies
- Be a part of the Full Stack development SCRUM Team and build responsive Web Applications
- Responsible for programming front-end Web user interface that is responsive for multitude of screen sizes
- Responsible for microservices development using Lambda and Kubernetes Containers in the AWS Platform
- Test Driven, Continuous Integration, Development and DevOps methodologies to ensure frequent technology builds supporting core business requirements
Coding Languages & Framework;
- Along with developing on AWS platform, development support will be expected on the current on-prem CompConnect application suite. Functionality enhancements, vulnerability remediation and PROD support will be expected on on-prem monolithic Java applications built on Oracle PL-SQL, Autosys, cron-jobs, Unix shell scripting, JSF, Servlet, Spring, webservices, Angular, JQuery and SlickGrid.
Note: As per the CompConnect roadmap we plan to rebuild on 4 applications on AWS platform by 2024 (with one big release each year – 2022, 2023 & 2024) and decommission all on-prem applications.
