Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge
Job Specifications General
Education / Qualifications and Experience Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in project engineering/testing in relevant industry space
Technical Skills Should have hands on experience in installing, commissioning or maintenance of fire alarm system also should have used commissioning software tools to commission Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP).
Experience of testing electrical circuits or components for proper functioning & Inspect equipment to locate or identify faults.
Should be aware of fire alarm standards EN54, NFPA-72, UL ,BS7273,SIL etc
Should have knowledge of PA/VA system and wireless technology.
Exposure to some of the Honeywell brand fire alarm systems (Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Gamewell, Gent, Morley, Esser) is an added advantage.
Should have worked on some of these suppression systems like FAAST, VESDA etc
Exposure BACnet gateway, MOD bus is an added advantage.
Should be capable of understanding the requirements and design test cases.
Should be capable of working with marketing, research and development team to detect defects and resolving them in the product.
Should have good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC process
Exposure to Acceptance Test Driven development (ATDD)
Should have hands on experience on developing automation scripts
Prior experience on performance & Capacity testing of applications is a plus.
Test Certification- ISTQB or equivalent, Scrum Alliance
Experience of CMMi or other process evaluation regime.
