Job Description: HCL Walkin Interviews
- Underwriting Specialist – Should have good amount of work experience in validating modification documents and income documents and various income calculations and there by taking decisions whether to accept or deny the loan modification.
- Should be a financial expert who takes a look at your finances and assess how much risk a lender will take on if they decide to give you a loan.
- UK Mortgage Underwriting Experience is a must, Please apply only if you have this experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Reviewing and verifying loan applications and supporting documentation
- Reviewing income documents, valuation reports, Letter from various channel, Insurance documents, Pre and Post Offer documents
- Analyzing loan risk and requesting additional information as necessary
- Reviewing and specifying loan conditions as necessary
- Willing to work on multiple & rotational shifts
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any stream (Without any standing Arrears’)
- Experience in End to End UK Mortgage domain with 1+ years experience
- Underwriter having good knowledge in UK residential underwriting
- Experience in reviewing of collateral including in depth analysis of Mortgage application
- Strong Process Knowledge in UK Mortgage Lending policies from Originations to Servicing
- Must be able to suggest change/challenge the existing procedures and provide positive solutions
- Need to have good Analytical Skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize
- Should possess Good Communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in MS Office
Basic Criteria’s :
- Excellent Communication Skills, Reading and Writing
- Candidates between 1 to 4 Yrs who are in to UK Mortgage Underwriting can only Apply
- Good analytical and audit skills.
- Knowledge pertaining to the regulations governing mortgage lending.
- Good Team Player
- Candidate should not have any standing Arrears’
- Should be flexible to work in Ambattur Location
