Role

User Interface debugging and validation testing, Compatibility (Configuration) validation, Performance parameters like battery health , Security on Android
Knowledge of ADB commands, capturing logs, troubleshooting, flashing Android devices with system builds, apps

Good Technical communication skills
Write Test cases as per the Functional specifications for Android devices.
Execute manual and automated test cases and document software/hardware defects.
Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
Take ownership of software defects from discovery through to closure.
Work in an Agile environment with some co-ordination with the team in parts of the world
Strong coordination skills as the person responsible will have to coordinate with London team along with the HCL team in Noida.

Device validation experience/background in Android/iOS.

Experience in handling projects with Android/Linux products.
Capable of handling a team of 50+ people across different areas like Dev, QA, Triage, Automation.
Owning and accounted for the performance of the teams working out of India.
Experience in handling American and UK based customers.
Experience in working with stakeholders in different timezones
