Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager – Database Engineer

Responsibilities
In this role, the shortlisted candidate will be responsible to perform the following:
Support required for development of new database modules based on the business requirement. Work on enhancements to the existing database systems maintained by Risk management department of the client
Support required troubleshooting, debug and fix the existing stored procedures/script and modifications are expected to be based on business need (expected to be based on newer version of SQL server (2016/2017)
Ability to develop new SSRS reports, Power BI reports and SSIS packages (ETL) based on requirement
The role would require working very closely with cross function risk teams (credit, and market risk) and clients IT teams based out of the US
Act in secondary role to develop, maintain, and support other applications process where required inclusive of already developed and new applications
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
B.E (Comp.Sc)/M.C.A/M.Sc (Comp. Sc) or equivalent
Preferred skills
Excellent technical knowledge on T-SQL (SQL server 2016 and higher), SSRS report development and SSIS package development.
Should have hands on exposure in writing SSIS script task using C#
Strong hands on knowledge on Power BI dashboard development and hosting. Should have ability to implement DAX functions and Power Query in Power BI
Should have good exposure in writing Stored Procedure, Function, View, Index and Trigger using T-SQL
Hands on experience in writing SQL scripts using Cursor, Triggers, CTE, temp tables
Having knowledge in database normalization
Exposure to SDLC models
