Position Description:
Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Must have good working knowledge on PEGA
- Expertise in PEGA PRPC Version 8. x, 7. x applications (preferably with a good understanding of the Insurance domain)
- Master concepts and standards of the software industry such as object-oriented design, design patterns, modeling languages (UML, etc. ) and communication protocols (SOAP, REST)
- Solid experience in API development
- Good knowledge of XML, XSLT , XML Schema and JSON
- Experience with development life cycle including Source control (CVS, Subversion, etc.), build scripts (Maven, etc.), development of unit tests ( JUnit, etc.)
- Programming experience with SQL
- Familiar in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, applications and systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
