Introduction:
- Drive the Test Automation of CHRP and 3rd Party programmes covering diversified components like APIs, ETL, GUI and DB.
- Solve technical issues faced by team members.
- Work and review team members automation code and suggest optimum ways of building the code which can meet all industry level best practices.
- Closely work with Operations / Business colleagues to understand the requirements, automate them from functional testing point so that the test pack can be executed as many number of times as required.
- Understanding of agile development/test methodology and practice it in day to day work
- Ensure DevOps principles are adopted
- Working as part of scrum teams, deliver test automation within sprint cycles.
- Drive all agile ceremonies (planning / stand-ups / retro etc.) to ensure high velocity is maintained.
- Document all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind
- Report progress against assigned activities in a timely manner.
What will you be doing?
- Act as Senior automation test resource and solve team member’s technical issues
- Code Reviews and direct the team
- Understand requirements, user stories and able to relate them with design documents
- Developing automated code in line with coding standards
- Report the status accurately
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent hands-on knowledge in building automation for API, ETL and GUI components.
- Excellent in tools like Java, insomnia, Selenium / Cucumber, GWT skills
- Good SQL skills
- Good Unix / Linux skills
- Exposure to middleware automation
- Exposure to SOA (service orientated architecture) testing using various transport protocols (HTTP, web services JMS)
