Job Purpose & Scope

The purpose of this job role is to monitor computer networks for security issues, potentials threats, cyber security incidents and security breach. The scope will include but not limited to Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate a violation when one occurs
RCA for security breach and incidents
Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches
Develop company-wide Develop security standards best practices for Information Security
Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing; Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
Introducing new technologies and up gradation of old system
Should be capable of taking steps and selecting right technology
Work as per industry standard and demonstrate good project management and change management skills
Major Areas of Responsibilities & Authorities

As a security analyst, the candidate will be responsible for design and implementation of IT Security systems.

Ensure proper and updated documents are maintained for IT Security Policies
Vendor management and SLA tracking
Backup restoration and Validation and maintaining all records for Audits and Compliance
Ensure Data Security, Data Backup and Business Continuity
understand patch management and firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts.
Ensure SIEM and VAPT is conducted as per policy and appropriate action is taken on the findings.

Qualifications

Essential Qualification: Engineering Graduate / Computer Graduate

Certification: CEH, CCNA, Cloud Computing,

Experience

5+ years experience in information security or related field, computer network penetration testing and techniques

Interactions:

Internal Business Stakeholders, External Vendors

Decisions:

Project related, Policy Related

Other Requirements

Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
Should ensure availability 24*7 and acumen to deliver support and project on time
Good team management and building skills
