What the day will look like
In this role, you will be working on the core Tyche Model Generator console application and its supporting Excel template. A typical day would involve some or all of:

- Writing robust, efficient and maintainable code, tests and documentation.
- Participating in the Agile development process through code reviews.
- Collaborating with colleagues in feature and delivery planning, design discussions and process improvements.
- Working closely with the consulting teams to provide expert technical support, discuss business requirements and assist with client implementation projects.
Essential skills
- Extensive experience in development with C# and .NET
- Educated to degree level with a minimum graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Computer Science, Information Technology
- Passionate about technology, and writing well-designed, well-tested code
- Personable with the ability to build great relationships and collaborate with colleagues and clients
- Experience of working in Excel VBA
- Able to communicate and explain complex ideas to others
Desirable skills
- A proven understanding of computer hardware, and how to write performant code.
- Experience working in the life insurance industry
- Experience developing actuarial modelling systems
