• You will write high quality and fully scalable code/configuration which would meet the Non Functional Requirements defined by the Architecture Team
• You will collaborate with the Platform Engineering Team to be up to date on the standards and technologies introduced at adidas, and to leverage those in the day to day work in Consumer Order Management space, to the extent possible.
• You will understand the full E2E process along frontend and backend components.
• You will be a sponge, continuously learning the latest tech from experienced colleagues, conferences, and trainings – always growing and improving
• You will follow existing release process to enable developed features in live systems

What We are Looking For

• A minimum of 1.5 years of hands-on Development experience in Java
• Experience working with code repositories, performing code quality assessments, and using testing frameworks
• Experience in setting up/actively using CI/CD pipelines with proper quality gates
• Exposure to IBM Sterling Order Management solution is a plus
• Experience working in agile teams
• Experience application containerization is a plus
• Ability to think out of the box and drive creativity, and also foster the same culture within the team
• Exposure of working on collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Motivation to never stop learning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English.
• College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of Software Engineering IT experience

Programming Languages

• Java (8 or above). Experience with Spring boot is a plus
• XML, XSL/XSLT, XSD, SOAP WebServices and REST
• Products: Knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS is a plus
• CI/CD: Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Agile Methodologies: Scrum/Kanban, Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development
